4. Who is Andy?
Andy, also known as 持宗 (Chizong), is a dedicated Taoist practitioner and healer with a rich background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and spiritual cultivation. He was born into a medical family in Taiwan, where he developed a strong foundation in TCM and martial arts from an early age. Initially, his journey began with external martial arts, including Karate and Taekwondo. Later on, he transitioned to internal martial arts such as Taijiquan and Qigong. Throughout this time, he earned accolades in various competitions.
As a disciple of the Tianyi Sect of the Maoshan Zhengyi Shangqing School, Andy has mastered Taoist Xuanmen healing methods. Specifically, he has become proficient in Qigong, talismans, remote healing, and Thunder Methods. Additionally, his expertise spans acupuncture, alchemical formulas, Taoist exercises, and meditation. By integrating these diverse practices, he has created a comprehensive medical and spiritual system.
Andy’s philosophy emphasizes:
1. Tao Follows Nature: Practicing Wuwei (non-action) as a cosmic law.
2. Three Treasures: Cultivating essence (Jing), energy (Qi), and spirit (Shen).
3. Holistic Growth: Supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
His goal is to guide others on their journey of self-cultivation, healing, and personal growth, offering a non-judgmental and inclusive approach to Taoist teachings.
