Taijiquan (Tai Chi)
Form Training: Learn traditional WuDang and Chen-style routines, emphasizing graceful, flowing movements.
Internal Power: Activate your Dantian and develop spiral force (Chan Si Jin) to deepen your practice.
Push-Hands Practice: Cultivate sensitivity, redirection, and emission techniques to strengthen your connection with Qi.
Health Benefits: Improves Qi and blood circulation, enhances balance, and supports nervous system regulation.

Qi Gong
Five Animal Frolics: Enjoy exercises inspired by animal movements to harmonize body and mind.
Eight Brocades: Practice eight dynamic wellness postures that enhance vitality.
Yijin Jing (Muscle-Tendon Change Classic): Engage in time-honored health-preservation exercises for strength and flexibility.
Seasonal Regimen: Adapt your practice to the changing seasons for optimal health.

Meditation
Daily practices include sitting, standing, walking, eating, drinking, and sleeping to cultivate mindfulness and relaxation.
Taoyin: Daily health cultivation for stress relief and mental clarity.
Sleep Optimization: Learn techniques like Yongquan acupressure and late-night meditation to improve rest and rejuvenation.
Breath Regulation & Mental Focus: Enhance mindfulness and cultivate inner peace.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
The TCM study will deepen understanding of the interconnection between body, mind, and spirit, using methods based on the Five Elements for balance and healing.
The Twelve Hours of the Lunar and Unicorn: Understanding the 24-hour energy cycle linked to body organs, and learning to align your energy with these cycles for optimal health.
Acu Points: Introduction to key acupuncture points on the body and how they influence the flow of Qi and promote healing. Utilizing massage and cupping techniques.
Acupuncture: Basic principles of acupuncture, including needle placement and how it’s used to balance energy and treat conditions.
Moxibustion: Using the burning of moxa (mugwort) to warm and stimulate acupuncture points, helping to improve circulation and boost Yang energy.
You (in Chinese Medicine): Understanding your personal energy and connection to the universe, and how to cultivate health through energy work.
Chinese Medicine: A comprehensive introduction to the holistic practices of TCM, including herbal medicine, Qi Gong, and diet therapy, all grounded in the principles of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements.

Taoist Exercise
Microcosmic & Macrocosmic Orbit: Activate the Ren-Du meridians and promote full-body energy flow.
Energy Refinement: Harness primordial essence to form the “inner elixir” for spiritual and physical nourishment.

Taoist Philosophy
The Taoist philosophy portion of the program will cover key principles for spiritual and practical growth.
The Immortal Path: Refine body and spirit to align with the Tao for a harmonious, happy life.
Commitment to Taoism: Decide whether to fully embrace the path of Taoist practice.
Tao and Virtue: Tao is the essence of the universe, and virtue (De) expresses it in human action.
Core Principles: Embrace simplicity, non-action (wu wei), quietude, cleanliness, and harmony with nature.
Balance of the Five Elements & Yin-Yang: Understand the interaction between elements and the balance of opposing forces.
Classic Learning: Study core texts like the Tao Te Ching, Huangting Jing, and others.
Taoist History: Learn about the history and evolution of Taoism.
Pre-Class Preparation: Set intentions, clear past obstacles, and engage in rebirth practices for spiritual renewal.
What is the purpose of Inner Alchemy practices?
Transforming essence (Jing) into energy (Qi), energy into spirit (Shen), and spirit into emptiness (Xu) for physical-mind-spirit transcendence. This is achieved by focusing on internal energy circulation using the lower Dantian, breath, and intention.
Daily Schedule
Through an initial assessment with Andy, a customized path that aligns with your current practices and aspirations, will be created allowing you to foster growth in the areas most important to you.
*The weekends are open for personal practice, exploring the surroundings, or simply relaxing at your own pace.
6:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Taoist Morning Exercise (adjusted based on sunrise time):
- Stretching
- Qi-Enhancing Exercises
- Meditation
- Basic Taijiquan Practice
8:00 AM: Breakfast (if applicable), followed by Digestive Walk and rest
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Morning Session:
- The Eight Brocades practice
- Taiji Quan Forms
12:00 PM: Lunch, followed by Digestive Walk and rest
2:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Afternoon Session
- Taoist & Inner Alchemy Philosophy
- Chinese Culture Event (Guqin, Calligraphy, Tea)
- Medical Session (Tailored Taoist exercises designed to address your unique bodily needs)
6:00 PM: Dinner (if applicable), followed by Digestive Walk
Evening: Personal practice/free time/resort offerings
